In Anticipation of Buenos Aires

11/19/2009

If our lives are dominated by a search for happiness, then perhaps few activities reveal as much about the dynamics of this quest – in all it’s ardour and paradoxes – than our travels. They express, however inarticulately, an understanding of what life might be about, outside of the constraints of work and the struggle for survival.  Alain De Botton, The Art of Travel

This time next week I’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  I’m looking forward to sharing the adventures with you on my return.  There’s really nothing like travel to get you out of your head and away from the computer!

Wow , it is Thanksgiving Day! I’m enjoying my extra day off, and I am planning to make something fun that’ll probably involve a moto trip and seeing something new in Grand Junction I haven’t seen yet.
You write something new at Thanksgiving?
